Here was what she created, and she showed them off to me with glorious glee on her face upon completion. I think she was a lot more interested in her own cards than mine!

She also knows how to recognise the numbers 1 to 10. One night, she saw the number 10 on one of my math revisions with Big Bee, and she uttered "ten!" loudly. Then, she went on to scribble 10, but in the opposite way - 01! Kids are just so cute!

Eh she can write very well for her age! Girls are really better than boys with fine motor skills.
Lin, yeah, her writing is really good!
Eh, viv, not all girls are good with fine motor skills... Soph doesn't want me to hold her hand and teach her how to even hold the pen... it's always "Mommy, don't touch my pen"... so she's still a long way from what Annette has achieved! :P
And little Bee stills like to write "A" :-)
viv/YM: She only likes writing a few of those letters, and as you know, she is also a stubborn girl, refused to be taught, so I had never held her hand when she writes, much to my mum's disapproval! So, most of the time, she self teaches herself to write by copying what I wrote for her! Which is why you see the B a bit "koyak" sometimes!
Fio: Yeah, her favourite is still "A"! I need to teach her the letters that form her name cos she needs to write her name in school next year! Stressed!
Mun: Oh, but I must add, your tracing pack certainly helps a lot, THANKS!! Perhaps can get Sophie to start tracing on dotted lines as well? It is more effective than helping them through holding the pen, I think! And they think they are independent this way, hee...
Lin,
The thing is, Soph still holds the pen like holding a mop! The grip is not the pen-like type of grip, so no matter how she traces, the handwriting is not nice. She wouldn't let me correct her grip though.
Plus, till now, I still don't know if she is left or right handed!
Need to observe more!
