It Takes Two To Clap

I had been very under the weather for the past 4 days due to a severe cold and I must thank Hubby for helping out a lot over the weekend. Although I still have to tend to the usual child-caring duties like feeding, bathing and teaching, he was kind enough to cook dinner for us and to put both of them to bed every night, which left me with precious time to recuperate before the night duty strikes again. Till now, Little Bee still wakes up once at night for milk, in between many angst-filled thrashes - no doubt nightmares due to her overly stimulated mind in the day. And Big Bee will enter into her usual sneezing routine at least once in the middle of the night, due to her sensitive nose. So, my nights are usually 5-6 hours of interrupted sleep! But I guess the constant lack of sleep is one of the inevitable yet fulfilling pebbles along the inexorable path of motherhood!

It really takes two to clap in this parenting routine. One down, the other helps out. Thank you, Papa!

Wow, Andrew can cook dinner!
Eh, doesn't your maid cook the dinners?

Hope you're OK now!

ym: Haha, yeah, he usually only cooks his "special" pasta la! My maid sometimes cooks, but that night, he volunteered to cook, and also imparted his "special" pasta recipe to my maid! *faint*
