My Little Horse Whisperer

Big Bee is a fervent lover of horses. So, you will find in her toy collection all things horses - from soft toys to little horse models to horse board games to books! Whew!

Which is why her favourite activity is every Sunday's riding class. Being so upclose and personal with some of her favourite horses for almost a year, she had finally progressed to cantering last Sunday, the 3rd of the 4 Horse Gaits. Hubby and I were infused with joy and pride as we see her pacing atop Peanut the pony at medium speed, her face filled with a medley of expressions as Peanut picked up speed - from vacillating, consternation to exhilaration and relief when she did not fall off the horse! She told me "Mummy, I was so frightened because it feels like I am falling off Peanut!"

She is turning browner with all these outdoor exertions, but I want her to grow up, full of life, hair free in the wind, loving the great outdoors, relishing the omnipresent sunshine!

Here are some of her favourite horses:

Big Bee's favourite pure white horse: Jasmine

Peanut, the "power" horse that can canter at top speed at the slightest nudge!

viv: Sure! Emailed you about that already ;)

average joan: She learns riding in Gallop Stables at Pasir Ris. Adults can't join cos they only use ponies, and adults are too heavy! Hee hee.

2nd kids are not that guai from what I saw amongst my friends. They are really more assertive cos they are used to fighting since young! Haha!
