On a languid Saturday night, what better way to whittle away the sluggish minutes than to indulge in a game of evening tennis? The breeze was gently welcoming, the stars were out gleaming at us - the weather was perfect!
The Bees and I descended upon our tennis court with much anticipation, with Big Bee and I trying our best to engage in a smooth tennis sparring session, but I must say my tennis is not good at all to immerse Big Bee in a proper game!
Cute Little Bee, on the other hand, was gamely picking up the balls that were flying in all sorts of bizarre directions, working up a sweat with her short little legs running around the court! She was also the sports photographer, taking pictures of Big Bee and me panting away.
The results? No winning or losing (as Mummy's tennis skills were way too bad!) but plenty of perspiration and an abundance of spent energy - just in time for bed :)

The last time i played tennis, 90% of the time was spent picking up the balls, 5% catching my breath and the remaining trying to avoid smashing my face with the racquet.
Needless to say that's one sport I won't be revisiting anytime soon..
Daphne: I have the exact sentiments as you!!! I am never a fan of this game, purely because I am always picking balls and looking so unglamly flushed!
