Merrymaking

Last Saturday, we attended J's 2nd daughter Desiree's 1st birthday party. The kids had lots of fun together again. It was mind-boggling to see how fast children grow and transform - all of them used to be little babies, and now, most of them are tall and lanky, almost like little adults! Soon, they will surpass us in their heights, making us old foggies look like shrivelled old souls!

The Bees were utterly entertained by bouncy castles and a clown who created the most exquisite animal balloons. Little Bee was elated by her charming cat balloon, whilst Big Bee had an utmostly zany time frolicking on the bouncy castles with Joanne and the rest of the bigger kids. The poor little kids all fearfully steered clear of the bouncy castles that were bent and deflected to almost unrecognisable shapes by the rowdy big kids!

They had a great time thereafter munching on numerous dainty cupcakes, whilst we adults indulged in delicious moist chocolate cake! This is the start of many impending parties this month - what socialites the Bees are!
